I realise it can be quite confusing when posting a review, especially if you haven't done it before but hopefully this explanation will make it a little clearer for you. These instructions are for starting a new thread for a recipe which has not yet been reviewed, if a thread already exists, just add your comments there.
Go to & click on Recipe Book Recipe Reviews on the Home page, click on New Topic and type your review.
The first few pages have the complete list of recipe books entered with links to reviews. These topics are stuck fast so that they are easy to find and your review will go in line after all these books. It will then be transferred by one of the Moderators by link only. Please do not post a review under the specific book you are reviewing as it cannot then be added to the list with a link. By all means, please make comments on the book itself under the title of the book - it is just the review system we need to get in the right place.
I hope this is clear, trust me it does work. Thank you for your co-operation and help in keeping our reviews accessible to everyone.
Reviewing recipes from the forum is a different matter of course. Reviews are just posted underneath the recipe itself.

good work JD :-*

You must have put in hours over the last few days sorting this all out. Thanks so much for all your hard work. :-* :-* :-*

Yes Katya, it was a lot of work but once most recipes have a review posted, it will all look after itself. eg Tenina's Dinner Spinner has only 2 recipes yet to be reviewed so once they are done, we will not have to keep an eye out for more links to be added to the list. Of course, not all books are as small as Dinner Spinner ;D

Thank you for collating all the recipe book reviews. It's making it a lot easier to check the recipe before trying it. It's also making it very tempting to buy more recipe books.
-
:D Yes, that's true Birdie but it does give us the option of which books are the best to buy ;)
-
Thanks Judy, I need just this sort of clear instruction.
-
Judy it is a lot of work and thank you. I appreciate it and the ease that we can now find recipes to make that have been reviewed.

I've sent you the links to your posting so that you can see with your own eyes that they are indeed there Hally. You have to believe me now ;D :-*

Sorry Judy, i didnt post my review correctly. I got carried away when i read CP's review.
Thanks again for all the tme you put into this forum, much appreciated

Denise you did the right thing. If someone has already posted a review of a recipe, you just add your comments on that same thread. We don't want new threads started for the same recipe. Only start a new thread if no-one has commented on a particular recipe. The idea is, for those looking to see if a recipe has been done, that they find everyone's comments in the same place.

I think Hally missed something on one of her reviews, I fixed it so there were no dramas. I have to do some moderating work to keep my job. ;)

Thankyou Judy. It's great to have clear step by step instructions.
I get a bit nervous about posting in case it ends up somewhere it shouldn't.

Don't worry Michele. We'll shift it if it is really necessary. Please post lots.
