Looked after the ground workers this morning, suppling them with tea and coffee. DH had an appointment this morning. Grocery shopping this afternoon for me.

DD and I had coffee this morning. The shopping Centre was very empty. We didn't see anyone with masks on today.

I’ve been on another mystery bus trip today with a friend, morning tea at Port Wakefield then ended up in Moonta on Yorke Peninsula for lunch. A much cooler day so good for travelling.

KAtie, not nice when power goes out. Lucky you have a generator.
CC, hope you are ok.  Report in our news that Dennis is about to hit.
Cleaned out Chook shed. Hosed everything down, put fresh straw in inside roosting shed. Litter put on garden.
Some cooking .

CC, hope you haven't been affected by floods from Dennis, it looks horrendous.  One way or another, it cannot be good for your building site so I hope it hasn't had a negative effect on progress.

I spent 5 hours at the hospital, Mum had to have her pacemaker battery replaced, it now has another 10 years of life in it.  A traumatic exercise for both of us but it was successful and I’m sure she will sleep well tonight, I came home exhausted!

I think they just gave her something to calm her down cookie, she becomes so traumatized with any procedures these days.  After taking her for an x-ray and a scan recently I knew how bad she would be for this one.

Sorry to hear you had a stressful day with your Mum Judy.

On Saturday we went to our Kitchen Supplier to finalize our kitchen plan and to place the order. I changed a couple of things but not the design. The manager said it will take approximately I week for the dry fit of the cabinets. Another week for the worktops to be completed.
Today I visited our local carpet shop to booked an appointment for the carpets and wood flooring to be installed. The 1st of June has been penciled in their diary .

CC, that is very exciting.  You probably now feel like you are getting somewhere.
Judy, I really feel for both you and your Mum. It is all so exhausting and stressful.
We also had an exhausting day.  RAL still has nasty cold, picked up on ship. Mine is gradually going. He had chest X-ray and blood test yesterday. More pills.
Lots of notices up at Dr Clinic about nasty virus.
6 monthly eye test for me today.

Chookie hope you and Ral recover soon .
Well I have crashed , spent all yesterday asleep in bed , no digital devices well maybe a few minutes only , no food . Slept all last night a bit restless and slept in this morning. I tried to get up but was sick , no yoga for me today, still no food . My head hurts eye just keeps watering and I feel like I am going to be ill . DH said just rest again , he may not be so happy when there is no dinner again . The pace I have been keeping has caught up I hope that is all it is as all I would like to do is read my book , but just no energy to do that .

Feel better soon Katie.

Judy, hope your mum is feeling better on your next visit.

Cornish, something to look forward to now, it will all be worth it.

Chookie, hope you and DH pick up soon.

I haven't had anything of note to post about, just been busy around home.  DH has been off for the last week, doesn't go back until next Monday so has been doing heaps of jobs, mainly outside that needed doing. He also cut up our old water tank which needed 2 trips to the dump to dispose of. A new one arrived today so he's been fitting that, just need some nice rain now.

I've ordered a new fridge.  All fridge, no freezer attached.  I needed it to open to the left so one had to be ordered which will take a couple of weeks.

Still using up freezer stock and will be glad when I can get back to cooking normally again.  Once it has been emptied, I'll go back to clearing it out every 3 months like I used to.  That used to work really well  :)
