Masons ... delicious.

Sounds like Echuca was a fun time.

I believe the Bendigo Pottery is still going, Cookie. I have never been there, though.  What was it like Chookie?

Today I am recovering from a knee arthroscopy which I had yesterday.  Very frustrating, not being allowed - or able - to do much.  However, apparently there was some ' debris' there which has now been flushed out so hopefully I will be back to normal very soon, in the interim, I am having DH run around for me - I am pretending it is good fun, but really, I would prefer to be up and doing myself.

Cookie, Bendigo Pottery is still going, although we haven’t been there for years.
Marina, that sounds very uncomfortable.  Hope it improves quickly.
The Trivia was great fun.  After the first count we we were first but slipped to 4 th after the music section. Very modern stuff that all sounded the same to us.  ;D

Picnic by the Murray River. Bruce, Mandy and Ral. You can’t see the ducks that were waiting in anticipation. The bread is SD.  We had had morning tea in Bendigo.  Bruce complained that his cake was stale.  The shop refunded him in cash , the cost of the cake , and gave him this SD loaf as well. We are all going to complain in future.  :o

The Bendigo Woollen Mills look the same as when I saw it many years ago. Mum certainly loved their wool.
Your lunch looks lovely Chookie. I do believe you should complain if something is wrong, however I find it very hard to do.

DD and I went to the Gooid Food and Wine show. We went early before all the drinkers had imbibed too much. We bought some lovely cheese from several different companies.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Sounds yummy Cookie.
We got a bit lost coming home.  Ended up in Maldon.  We saw 3 beautifully restored vintage cars driving along the road.  Ral said they were the same as the ones your DH restores, Cookie.   They were amazing.

CC, it was warm in the sun.  We had to keep shifting our chairs to catch the sun.

It is possible the cars were on their way to Castlemaine, Chookie, as we saw a 'gathering' of vintage / classic cars here yesterday.

They may have been, but there was some show on at Bendigo so thought they may have been heading there.

Wherever they were going, it is obviously 'all go' in the Victorian goldfields this weekend

We took our old ute up to the York car show today. It was a beautiful day up there, freezing in the morning but beautiful for the rest of the day.

Tonight I am going to Books for Cooks who are doing a presentation on "Ferment for good: ancient foods for the modern gut" by Sharon Flynn.  It covers all sorts of fermented foods - Kimchi, Sauerkraut, kombucha, etc.  Should be really interesting.
