I know it's not all the info but does anyone else find the idea of this pendrive or seeing recipes on the screen not that exciting? I really really hope that isn't the main change.

One of the things I really want is a higher temp.

Yes Turando, I'm with you on that.  Will appeal to some but I'm more excited about the possibility of temp and scale changes.

I am sure there will be a higher temp maybe enough for caramelisation but not much higher .

Only hours to go.

Scale accuracy and a better lid lock mechanism.  My lid shifts during operation, so if I stop, add something via the hole, I have to remember to tweak the lid.  It's almost second nature now but did have me wondering what I was doing wrong at the start

The info in that picture is the same exact info for a chinese copy of the older TM so I doubt it has anything to do with the real TM. Will find out tomorrow :)

In that info it says temperature from 40 to 140!! I hope so! It also says frying. I hope so, too!

Not that interested in the touchscreen inbuilt recipes etc, able to connect to iPhone etc.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
