Judy, thanks for the links. This one looks interesting. I now have lots to look forward to. I enjoy them most when the weather is warm. Soup suits me best when cold. I suppose soup is really often just a warm smoothie.

Thanks Marina and Chookie, glad to hear of your interest. Having put together a comprehensive set of recipes for myself it’s nice to know others can tap into them. I agree with you Chookie, soup is great for cooler weather but after a long winter I’m so pleased to be able to have something different on our warmer days. Cooler weather I have soup or scrambled eggs but was glad the warmer weather returned as I’m loving my smoothies. At the weekend I bought a 500g pack of baby spinach which I packed in 1 cup lots, it was difficult to find space for them in the freezer.

It’s a little cooler here today so we are having a casserole. I couldn’t be bothered browning the meat etc so I just put it in the casserole dish and put it in the oven.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Cookie, I can’t tell the difference wheather browned first or not.
GS came for dinner last night. As I was out most of the day, I put roast beef in the SC , set on low. Cooked beautifully. I prepared all the veggies and steamed the potatoes and pumpkin early and then roasted them in the AF. Crepes for Pud. He took the leftovers home.
Chicken breast someway tonight.

The smoothie Queen. 😀😀😀

I minced a couple od chicken breasts. Coated them in Panko breadcrumbs. I put some passata on the top, with some grated cheese and baked them. They were quite nice.

That carrot smoothie looks good, Judy.  Did you separate the passionfruit seeds out or grind them in?  Which seeds did you use?

No I left the seeds of the passionfruit in Marina. I picked up a packet of Hemp & Chia seeds with slivered almonds from Chemist Warehouse, I used 1T but I’m going to reduce that to 1 tsp.

That used to be a favourite of mine cookie.

Smoothie tonight was a Creamy Berry Smoothie with spinach and cauli (recipe was for blueberry but I have that in my morning smoothie so used strawberries).  Turned out too much for me so will have it tomorrow night as well. https://lifestylemedicine.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/ACLM-Food-As-Medicine-Jumpstart-8.5x11.pdf  An interesting read for those interested, you will have to scroll a lot to reach the smoothie recipe.

Tonight the men had RTE crumbed chicken tenders with a vegetable and rice dish.  Stewed rhubarb for dessert.  I just had the rhubarb with yogurt.
