Good morning everyone, up early for a busy day.  I'll be gone by 8.45 am and then not home until after 11 pm. Probus morning then nursing home before going into the city before my football match tonight. A bit of rain about now for some days, hopefully not too much to spoil my day.

Good morning everyone.

A busy day ahead of you Judy, I hope your team wins.

Chookie, the wine is in the fridge ready for the celebration.

Cookie, I'm sorry to hear that Mr Cookie has shingles.

Hi friends.
Another grey day here. The weather forecast says it's going to be warm but it didn't feel like that out walking Chance this morning. Had to wear my gloves again to keep my hands warm.

I hope you had a good day Judy.

Judy what a busy day you have had. Last time I checked your footy team was winning. You will sleep well tonight.
Thank you all for being so sweet re DH's shingles. It looks like he got the anti viral medication in time. He is still in heaps of pain but the blisters and sores look a little better.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Morning all.
Cookie, sorry to hear that DH has shingles. Very painful. Sounds like he has a bad dose.
Judy, that is one very busy day.
Yesterday was a whopper day. Settlement through without any problems. Men arrived at 7.30 am to install book shelves and finished at 5.
Man delivered Rals small tractor and carpet layer came to fix carpet around new book shelves.
Too bu....ed to go out and celebrate.
Made TMX scones with homemade jam and cream for morning tea and soup and toasted sandwiches for lunch.
The carpet man has a TMX and he uses it all the time.

Boy you guys don't waste time getting things done, no time to even put your feet up after such a hectic time recently.  Enjoy your books and that gorgeous tractor.

Morning all.
CC, another nice little friend for Chance. The cabinate makers were admiring the beautiful wood  S and P shakers I had on the table.
Yesterday was busy with unpacking books. Empty boxes piling up. Good feeling. We are culling as we go but still not sure we will fit them all in.

Cookie, so sorry for your DH having to deal with Shingles, especially in the face area. I know a few people who have had them and it is a very painful ghastly thing. Hopefully he won't suffer as much with the meds.

Happy for you Chookie now that settlement has gone through. A new chapter truly begins!

CC, good that Chance is still out there enjoying his daily walk with you and meeting friends.

Judy, your team are doing well! Up till this weekend the games have been somewhat unpredictable. DH and I are in a footy tipping comp here at our village and we have had trouble picking winners. This weekend seems to be easier. It is funny, the top 6 on the tipping ladder are all women.
