Good morning everyone.

The mystery plant that grew in with my potatoes turned out to be a sunflower.  I thought I had better take a photo before the galahs found it :)

Take care on the ice, it is treacherous stuff.

Love the sunflower, they are such a happy flower!

Good morning all.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Despite the heat I did a lot of cooking, and we all did a lot of eating and drinking!
Denise I saw a news article on the nasty weather in the UK. It's hard to comprehend when you are watching the tele with sweat dripping off you ;D Hope you are in a nice cosy spot.
We are having a massive declutter here. It started with the DD clearing out her room. Then the boys decided that it was time for them to do the same. Since DH is away, I thought this might be a good time for me to do some decluttering as well. What a mess  :o  :-[  I have two rooms full of stuff. What to do with it all  :-\ :-\ :-\  It's going to be a very busy start to the new year sorting this lot out.

Gayle can you sell it on ebay or gumtree.
We are cleaning up 2 rooms downstairs today, so good to declutter.

Good morning everyone.  Nice and cool here today.

Good luck with the decluttering djinni.  I have a lot of sewing stuff that I still need to get rid of  :D  I just need to get in and do it instead of putting it off.

We have taken a lot of stuff to Salvos but lately to the swap.  Last swap someone had donated some secondhand shoes.

I love the sunflower. I'm trying to grow some at the moment, but usually I only get ones with the smaller centres. Yours is gorgeous Margaret.

Hi friends.
The ice has melted so no difficulty walking this morning with Chance. It was very muddy though  ;D

DS gave me sunflower plants this summer. They were terrific and the birds loved eating the seeds in the Autumn.

Had a major clean out of our garden shed yesterday so it's a run to the tip for us today before picking up our last lot of visitors for 2017 from the train, so it will be a busy day for us today.
