Sorting is nothing and the amount of time copying hyperlinks was insignificant compared to the work you have done Judy  :-*  :-*

I have deleted my list as Johnro has now put them in alphabetical order for me.  You will find her list below.  Thanks Robyn, it saved so much time  :-*

To bring the list to the top of the page again, I think I would have to delete all the postings above it.  Would those who posted mind if I did that as I'm sure you would prefer the list to be in a more prominent position.

More than happy for you to delete my ramblings JD.... but you won't be deleting my gratitude to you  :D :D

Thanks Judy & Johnro:  can never have too many ice-cream + sorbets recipes!
And TMX makes life so easy  :)  For Christmas I ended up making an ice-cream cake:  perfect on a hot day!  A thin sponge topped with a layer of mango ice-cream topped with raspberry ice-cream topped with lychee sorbet and a few fresh fruits...

How long did it take you to complete the making/layering Carine - nice dessert.

Made the sponge & mango ice-cream in the evening on the 23rd and rapberry + lychee layers on 24th.  This way the sponge wasn't "dry" and the ice-creams were still creamy- the longer in the freezer the icier they become.  I made sure that my tin was well lined with glad wrap.

Not deleting recipes Chookie, just comments made before Robyn sorted my list.  It meant her alphabetically listed contents were way down the page and I wanted to bring them to the top. Would never delete someone's recipe it would be like throwing something that belonged to DH in the bin without his permission ;D

I'm not sure where to post this, but just came across a recipe for Butternut (as in squash) and vanilla icecream  (developed by Simon Hulstone, Knorr National Chef of the Year 2008) in a UK Thermomix newsletter . . . it's on page 2.  Looking forward to trying this but if someone gets in before me I'd love to know what you think!

Judy I've just  made your Not Quite NIgella Strawberry Icecream and can't find it on here. It has mascarpone in it and balsamic. It is lovely. I've licked the butterfly and bowl and it's now in the icecream machine.

Can you store/freeze your sorbets or are they designed to be eaten straight away?

You can keep most sorbets in the freezer for a while Lucy, but ours always got eaten pretty quick anyway ;D If they freeze really hard it might pay to get them out 5-10 minutes before you want to serve them ;)

We have a few on here Deb  ;) and most recipe books have them as well so you shouldn't have any problems choosing - or maybe you will as the choice is so varied.
