Does anyone know if this will be available with the chip?
-
Thanks Katie and Judy. Looks very good.
-
I don't believe so SoBlessed, they would have said so if it was.
-
No there isn't a chip available for this book.
The book does say it's suitable for both TM31 & TM5 machines.
-
What's the point of having a TM5 if you cant get some different chips. Disappointing. :(

I agree So Blessed. I would have thought that every new cookbook would automatically have a chip version available,
-
Perhaps they want everyone to buy the book first.
-
I finally get it. Almost anyone can publish a TMX cookbook, but only vorwerk can produce recipe chips for the TMX given propriety rights etc.
-
I love Louise's first book and refer to it often. I look forward to trying this one, too.

Yep.
-
I find that disappointing too. Silly me assumed all new cookbooks sold by thermomix would come with the option of chip or book or both!
-
I hope they bring out a chip for this book.
-
I had a demo recently and was told that there will be 4 chips available by the end of the year. I wasn't told what they would be. Apparently Germany already has lots of chips.
-
I like the chips, especially as you can use the chip but still do your own things as it goes. Eg change weight etc
-
Interestingly, this book has also been published non TM method. (Saw this in the ABC bookshop, same recipes but conventional method)
-
Does anyone have this book and have an opinion about it?
I got traveling with thermomix recently and was very disappointed. Sold it on ebay.
I'm tired of seeing recipes with special ingredients you will never use again or are very expensive.
Give me every day meals with ingredients most people will have
-
I've ordered a copy but I did have a quick look at Katie's book - I liked what I saw and will give a review of the book when my copy arrives.
-
Sounds like this is worth popping down the road and getting a copy.

Oops, I bought the book when it first came out (about 2 months I think). I marked several recipes to try but had put it on the shelf and forgotten about it. I must dig it out, I know the recipes were all pretty simple with no obscure ingredients.
