Onion Sauce (Spanish recipe)

Name of Recipe:  Salsa de Cebolla (Onion Sauce) – not tested

Tablespoons are European ones, ie, 3 teaspoons

Serves:  Not stated

Ingredients:
1 small sweet onion
A pinch of black pepper
½ tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp Dijon mustard
150g olive oil
½ tsp ginger
3 tbsps wine vinegar

Preparation: 
Peel and cut the onion and chop it in the  *: 4 seconds / Speed 3.
Add the remaining ingredients in the order given.
Blend the mixture 5 seconds / Speed 4 or until it has achieved the desired consistency.

Tips/Hints:  It is very suitable for meat, fish or any other dish.  In some countries this is a very common sauce.  To vary the flavours omit the paprika and add chopped parsley, finely chopped red pepper, garlic, etc.
