Enjoy the meals out Chookie. We are having the slow roasted lamb from skinny mixers blog tonight. The marinade seemed lovely so really looking forward to it.

Pasta , dh just bought the phillips pasta machine and a new fridge for me.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

We had pasta tonight robyn. Penne from the Phillips machine in a pesto chicken sauce from thermofun blog.

My photos are definitely not in JulieO's league but DH is so used to me taking them, he now plates up for me. I think he does a great job!

Kimmy, your dinner looks delicious as usual.
I was craving curry tonight, but the kids are usually not that keen. I found some red curry paste in the freezer that I'd made some time ago, and with a few tweets, managed to make a chicken curry that everyone enjoyed. For DH, I cooked brown rice instead of jasmine, and served extra sauce, for DS, I didn't cook the capsicum, but added it raw at the end, and added cashews, and for DD I put in water chestnuts and baby corn. I halved the amount of curry paste so it wasn't too hot, and DH & I added extra chili at the table.

Kimmy that pasta looks great, I'll have to have a look at that blog.

Robyn, congratulations on the pasta machine and fridge. We found using '00' and semolina gives us the best result and have been using one of the noodle dies as spaghetti the majority of the time and we love the texture.

CC, slow roasted lamb is my favourite as well and we try a different recipe every time. I always cook in the oven well sealed for about 6 hours. What spices/herbs did the Persian recipe have and what was it served with?

Some beautiful food being mentioned here. Kimmy I wish I lived down the road from you, actually perhaps not, I would be on your doorstep all the time.  ;D :D Your DH is clever.

ES congratulations on coming up with something that satisfied everyone.

We have almost eaten our holiday freezer out. Tonight is corned beef. DH will be cooking it on the induction hot plate outside the van. I have popped the thermomix away as I won't be using it for a couple of days. We leave Monkey Mia Wednesday morning.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I will ask for the recipe Wonder.It had a beautiful crust.I think dried lime and rose petals were some of the herbs used and cooked it was slow cooked for 4 hours.
He served it with glazed carrots and spicy potatoes.

I made the tuna mornay with crunchy topping from recipe community tonight for a change. I used leftover brown rice, stirred the juice of a lemon through the mix before baking and added some cooked bacon to the topping. It was a hit with the family as everyone went back for seconds and there was very little leftover.
