However did you get huge turkey drumsticks to cook the KFC way ES.  I've done Drunken Turkey using drumsticks but it takes ages to cook in the oven.

Think I'll make some pulled pork today and have with last nights leftover salad, some coleslaw and chips.

I haven't turned the oven on once this week! Last night used the PC for lamb cooked in French onion soup mix (the boys favourite) & potato salad, & tonight might be chicken Caesar salad or marinated pork ribs in PC  :-\  I really can't be faffed...no appetite in this heat.

Trudy's recipe, its in the beef enchillada thread. Finally totally cracked the perfect tortilla, soft & warm. Last time were really good but some went hard, this time perfect :)

This is one by Trudy Olive BZB

320g plain flour
1teaspn salt
3 tblspns olive oil
1 tspn baking powder
180g warm water
Place everything into the bowl.
Mix 10 seconds on speed 7 to combine.
Set to locked position and knead for 3 mins.
Put dough onto bread mat and rest 5-10 mins.
Divide dough into 12 pieces and roll each piece into a flat round.
Fry in an oiled hot frying pan until they start to brown.  Turn them over and cook the other side.
OK to freeze.
Also great for making tortilla chips in the oven with any leftovers.

Hally I might have to make a quick trip to the Spanish shop and see if they have some in stock. I love home made tortilla's but always found it way to time consuming in the fry pan and ended up with a huge mess after having to roll them. It looks like from your pictures you just need to roll into a ball and the flatten in the press - is that right? Also, what was the secret to warm soft tortilla's?

I divided the dough into 8 but could probably do 10. Made balls, used gladwrap on each side of press & flattened, first few I rolled out, then the last 6 I just flattened again & got the perfect size. The flat grill worked perfectly, med -hot temp, less than a minute each side then straight into the tortilla warmer, perfect. I think the warmer helps too. I have been told they freeze well too.

Have fun :)
