Happy New Year to all! I have a good feeling about 2016, maybe because I like even numbers.
It was very quiet in our neighbourhood last night which pleased us no end. We were asleep by 10.
Our little cat has already had her 1st mouse for 2016.

Morning all.
Thanks for the photos CC. Nice to look at some frost and Chance enjoying himself.  I admire your persistence.
First Farmers market for the year today.
There seem to be fires everywhere this year.  None so far close to us.

My dog Jaxon is just the opposite CC, he will not get out of bed if it is raining or even cloudy which it ha been these past few weeks. I have to cajole him into going for a walk or trick him even. If it is sprinkling I have to practically run to keep up with his haste to get back to bed! I can never let him off the lead here which is a shame. I can walk him only around my block which is 2.2 Klm with just enough smells to keep him interested. There are enough trees and flowers in bloom to keep me interested and some lively birds to watch but nothing like the rainforest I did have. Living on the edge of the city is challenging, atmosphere wise!

This morning the sun is out for the first time in weeks so,my new challenge will be to get Jaxon moving before the temp gets too high. It is already 28 degrees in my bedroom at 0700.

Happy New year Forum Friends, hoping we are all blessed with good health and happiness.  Where have the years gone, 2016!
Very windy over here with a couple of fires, not a good combination.
Have a lovely second day of the year.
