Are you saying that the thin silicone sheet got sucked up by the fan to the top of the air fryer Chookie?
Yes, someone had the same problem with the Indian Pappadams.  The thin sheet is fine with food on it.  I used the thin silicon sheet to  cover the pasties I made from browning too much.  I put a small tin lid on it to hold it down.  No problem.
I have posted the bread roll recipe under ' bread'.  Is this the correct place for it.  .?

I made chicken drumsticks for dinner tonight. So tender, moist and delicious!

I'm gluten and dairy free, so I made a mixture of gf breadcrumbs, onion and garlic powder, paprika and thyme.
I coated them with that and oil. Turned out great but a bit crunchy in places that didn't have oil. It might also be that the crumbs are mostly rice. My substitute for kfc.

I love this machine.  ;D

Yes that's the right place Chookie.  I have linked it to the list of air fryer times and recipes.

The cauliflower was really nice mrsb, I put it in my small thermosaver whilst I reheated the rest of the meal.

Thought I'd try the toasted sandwich recipe from the pdf link.  I didn't follow their method of melting the butter though, just buttered some home-made bread on the outside, tomato and grated cheese on the inside (all I had but slices would be better as you can only get so much grated cheese into a sandwich ;) cooked 180o for 6 minutes.  Lightly toasted but nice and crunchy.
I think bought bread might toast quicker than home made though so if you try it, check it every so often.  Nice to be able to walk away from a sandwich which is toasting.

Judy,  I am finding the home made bread toasts ok.  I use butter and give it a couple of minutes of 200 at the end.

I tried Chookie's KFC chicken again yesterday. This time I didn't put the pieces into all the flour mix. I placed some flour mix on a plate, placed a chicken piece into the mix. By the 2nd and 3rd pieces, the mix was all wet and rolled into unusable balls. So I added a bit of fresh mix, placed chicken on it. Placed the chicken with the floured side down. Sprinkled fresh mix on the bare side. Sprayed with oil.

Then placed the pieces into preheated 200C. 10 mins. 150C 10 mins. The pieces were not coated enough, hence not as yummy :( :(  I couldn't turn the pieces as the coating got stuck to the net (which was sprayed with oil prior to cooking).

The setting for bone-in pieces is as per the quick guide in the recipe book. That and the buttermilk marinade produced juicy meat. But the coating issue was quite frustrating.

Followed setting for breast. 150C 8 mins, then 180C 6 mins. Chicken came out pale. Didn't have time to play any further cos family was very hungry by then.

Chookie, Judy, Cookie ideas?? So sad that I couldn't get it right :( :(

The best looking 2 pieces, served with egg salad and EDC coleslaw.

I haven't done the KFC in the air fryer BZB?  Do you do skinless pieces?  I  removed the skin when I've done it the normal way.  Must try a few pieces one day myself.

To be honest BZB I decided I would keep cooking it in the oven. I let it beat me.

This may help.BZB,  I make 2 lots of coating,  when I am doing a lot.  I also leave the skin on.  I have only ever shallow fried it in Rice Bran oil. I am trying to imitate the real KFC,  not create a healthy dish.   :o :o I will give it a go when I have nailed the bread in the AF.  Today I made Julie's pull apart.

Hahaha. The feeling of defeat was there yesterday, cookie. Perhaps I should place the pieces on baking paper. I don't think the Airfryer was the issue for me. It's getting the coating  right :(

Skin on for bone-y pieces. No skin for breast, Judy
