Chit Chat / Re: pizza dough
« on: September 07, 2011, 07:47:53 pm »
My husband made pizza dough last Sunday but decided not to cook it because a very kind friend bought some very fresh prawns and fish for us that afternoon.  He left the dough in the fridge and cooked it on Monday.  It was just as good.  Just take it out from the fridge when you're ready to prepare your pizza.  Let it return to room temperature and give it a bit of kneading and carry on as usual.

Hello Everyone, I'm a new owner of a Thermomix.  In fact, so new that I'm still waiting for it to be delivered.  I bought it after months of consideration and finally attending a demonstration in a beautiful town some 30 miles from where I live.  I am impressed by the Thermomix's multi-functional design but the price has made it difficult for me to make up my mind.  I hope I'm going to use it often so it doesn't just sit on a kitchen worktop occupying space and doing nothing.  I need your encouragement to be adventurous with it.http://

[move][flash=200,200][flash=200,200]Hi I am not yet a Thermomix owner but I'd like to find out more about it by using this forum.  One thing I'd like to ask is whether the Thermomix can grate carrots.  I mean grate so that they are finely cut but remain long in shape and not chop to small pieces.  Also, have anyone used the Thermomix to make soya milk or tofu?  Is the Thermomix able to grind soya beans and grains such as rice and wheat to a fine powder?  Thanks.  Lottie
