I've just had a wonderful morning. First I made the broccoli timbales, followed by a recipe from Tenina's Steam Cooking for a parmesan/macadamia cookie and finally some crackers to have with dips. I was amazed at how little washing up I had. Tonight I'm making the Sundried tomato and capsicum dip, some 5 seed bread and more broccoli timbales.

It was organised by a friend who has become a demonstrator. There will be 3 couples there with our trusty Thermomixes all producing "wonderful" food to try and persuade one couple that they can't survive without a TMX. Kind of gang warfare.

Yes, that was not good VHJ. It was a good place to go down to when you needed things like lots of cheap tomatoes. We often called in on the way to Rockingham.

I made this yesterday for our TMX party tonight. I think/know I made it in too large a tin so it only took 35 minutes to cook. I found it quite tasty and the texture very uniform (as in most TMX cakes). I think I'll put a cream cheese frosting on it for tonight. Next time I'll use a 20cm cake tin.

Chicken and Cashews EDC page 107
I made this exactly as the recipe. I found the sauce a little bland-possibly I didn't put enough soy in it. To liven it up a bit I stirred some sweet chilli sauce through it.
4/5 Will make it again.

As usual great photos Julie. You're an inspiration to try new things. I made the Chicken and Cashews from the EDC and TMXer's Carrot and White Chocolate Cake.

Oh dear, my mind is totally warped. My initial thought on seeing "cleaning old posts" was wondering what did a TMX have in common with cleaning old fence posts. I'm way too comfortable on this site, I'm sure I need to get out more and not play with my TMX so much. Perhaps I'm just 'over the hill'

Welcome Scrappy. I saw a TM21 at head office and it looks quite different. Have fun and share the 'happenings' with us. Have you looked in the section of this forum that tells you about modifying recipes between TM21 and TM31? It's in Questions, doubts and requests.

Great articles. Everyone will be after a machine. I no longer really think of the cost as I couldn't be without mine. The cost has become immaterial.
