I just wanted to acknowledge how very helpful Alyce has been when I enquired whether she would be prepared to post a copy to me here in the UK. She was so prompt with a reply and has amended her website to include the UK.Ordered it today. ;D ;D Looking forward to receiving this book as forum members are having great results with the recipes.
Thank you Alyce. :)

She did the exact same thing for me in Canada.  Wonderful to deal with and a really fast response.  I was quite impressed.   ;D

Hey Woerd, I know a couple of Canadians here in Melbourne - maybe they're your DH's cousins? LOL

They MUST be.  Do they have black hair?  If they do it's a sure thing!! LOL

I've ordered mine and can hardly wait until it gets here : )  I hope it doesn't take too long to get all the way to Canada.  Maybe I should havew just taken a little holiday and come and picked one up.  I know my Husband has cousins in AU somewhere but no idea where.  They would be easy to find, right?  LOL

Well I made them again today because my darling 10 year old spotted the photos and said quite accusingly, "When did you have this!?" I'm sure she thinks we should not eat at all the whole day she is at school so she doesn't miss out on anything!  :D

LOL.  My husband does that when we have dinner without him because he's working nights.  He gets sooo jealous :D

Recipe Requests / Re: Beetroot pomegranate salad from In the Mix
« on: January 09, 2012, 03:43:39 am »
I have made this several times now since I got the book.  Had company this weekend and they thought they had died and gone to heaven.  They said it was the best beet salad they had ever had.  I had never heard of pomegranate molasses and have no idea where to get it.  The first time I just omitted it and the salad was very slightly bitter.  After that I just started adding a spalsh of pomegranate juice instead to sweeten it a little.  It helped a lot.  We love this salad.  The first time my 20 year old had 3 helpings and he hates beets. LOL

Made this last night.  It was very tasty.  I had two bowls : )  I found that speed 5 was too fast so I used speed 3.  I also added cheddar to the soup while I was cooking it as well as just a little cayene pepper to give it a bit of bite.  Will make again.  Loved it.

I've been making this for awhile.  My 20 year old Son LOVES it and requests it over and over again.  It's a winner in our house.

Exact same goes for me and my 20 year old son LOVES it too and asks all the time.  It's so quick and easy too  ;D

Does anyone know if it's available in Canada?  I can get it through ebay I saw but it is about $75.00 canadian dollars and there is no info on the shipping.  I have checked on the Canadian Distributor website and it is not listed there : (  I would LOVE a copy.
