Post by: smallpoppitts on February 17, 2013, 05:46:49 am
HELP!!  the scales on my Thermomix won't tare to 0.  I've checked everything the book says to but it doesn't make any difference.  Any suggestions?

Hi SP - have you made sure that nothing is touching the TMX, e.g., anything leaning against it, etc.?
Make sure the feet are clean and it's on an even surface?
Have you tried pressing the weight button, waiting a few seconds and then pressing it again?
Can't think of anything else right now . . . maybe others might have some idea.
Have you spoken to your consultant? . . .Good luck!

Is it plugged in properly? My scales were playing up once & I realised the plug had started coming out of the outlet, no problems now. Hope it fixes itself!

Is the cord pulled fully out from the back of the machine?

My scales were playing up today. Put ingredients in and scales didn't show any weights.
I kept trying but gave up as I had limited time to cook.
Ended up using my digitals. Cord was fine and was all clean underneath. Will check again tomorrow :)

I've done all of what has been suggested and no change.  I've had my machine for just over 2 years and this is the first I've EVER had an issue with it.  Has anyone ever pulled the feet completely off before?

I wouldn't be pulling the feet off, SP.  Have you spoken to your consultant . .. or to HO?  That would be my next step.
