Kezza, glad you had a chance to try these and that they worked out and were enjoyed. Thanks for letting me know. It is always good to hear how people go.

I think many workmates just LOVE anything that somebody else brings in !!  But yes these are certainly going to please the harshest critics.

I made these this morning and although I haven't tasted one yet I'm sure they'll be popular. (The raw mix was yum) Next time I make them I think I'll use white choc bits and to help it combine I used the spatula. I used damp hands to roll them and also a damp fork to squish them. I got about 40 oout of the mix.
I loved the idea of creaming the butter and sugar on a lower speed.

creaming the butter and sugar on the lower speed works really well doesn't it. Hmm thought process ... did I or anyone send that to Tenina. If you have let me know, otherwise I will send it through. It really does make a difference when it isn't getting splattered all over the bowl  ;) ;)

Oddly enough I know we have discussed this and I am sure that I said somewhere that I had more success using the lower speed but can't find the discussion it was posted in - and it is not even in the tips. (I think  ??? ???)

JD you seem to be the champion at finding things, can you let me know if you can find the discussion - don't want to repost it in tips if it is there but think it is really worth posting  ;D ;D

Judy you are amazing.

I had one of these for afternoon tea yesterday. They are lovely. Have a very special taste from the chocolate. DH took some with him today so they have certainly received the royal tick.
Now I can make another batch of cookies, but oh what to make.........................?

These aren't mine Cookie (mine are the white chocolate and coffee biscuits) - they belong to RoxyS.  Glad you enjoyed them though ;) ;).
