Oh well done ES! I love how you enter your cooking in the shows. I grew up in a country town and used to try and enter as many things as I possibly could (mostly art), and its one of the best feelings to approach the section with trepidation and voila see a certificate attached to your entry. If there's nothing you look at the other entries with a very critical eye.

I certainly didn't enter into the art things. But I did enter cooking, veggies and needlework. Very exciting when you got first prize of 2/- 
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I saw your beautiful entries today ES! I think your cupcakes should have won first prize too!  I had no trouble finding the 2 blue entries.

Thanks everyone- it's all a bit of fun really. It is exciting to see your entry with a prize card, especially if there have been lots of other entries in the section. Our family did exceptionally well this year and it adds a little extra excitement to a visit to the show.
