MF, my DH and DS2 are going to the Indi tonight for a end of season touch football dinner. They will then stay the night on the boat so that they can both have a drink. Just DS1 and the puppy and myself home tonight. Will be quiet but nice for a change!

We go to the Indi quite often Moptop as its our local.
Great that they can stay on the boat and both can enjoy themselves without worrying about driving.
Is your boat moored in the Marina or just overnight there tonight?
All quiet here too as my DH is away on golf trip.

The Christmas season has officially started. I took DD to the Christmas pageant this morning. It's an institution in SA and I remember going as a child. I'll be sad when my kids get too old to want to go-. DS didn't come this year which was a little sad. It was perfect weather with a forecast of 26C. There was a seemingly unending procesdion of cliwns, marching bands and fantasy floats  There were lots of happy kids lining the streets waiting for the final float with Father Christmas.

I love the Christmas pageant too when I was younger it used to be on at night it was great all the lights and everything but then it was changed to the day and the first week of December it gets too hot so depending on the forecast is if we go or not, your photos are great ;D

ES we were sitting at the Eagles Club on the Port Road waiting for our lunch to be served when some of the floats made their way back to the storage area.  Everyone in the restaurant stopped talking to watched our own private little procession albeit it at a much greater speed than you guys saw it pass - 60 kph and keeping up with the traffic.  Good thing all the people from the floats had stayed in town, it might have been a bit hairy riding Nipper or Nimble at that speed  ;D

What a lovely photo CC, a pity you weren't in it. It looks very cold. Sounds like you all had a good time too.
Country Living and Christmas Fair would be fun.  :D

CC, lovely photo.  You can see where GS gets his lovely, big eyes.  The girls must look forward to this annual event - you are so lucky to have SIL's that you really hit it off with.
