Lovely presents ES and DJ.

Come on Marina, few more clues please. Animal, vegetable or mineral? 😉
Now ... there's a leading question Kimmyh, and here's a tease ... all three (one way or another and with a bit of imagination)!!

You mentioned personally signed - Is it a cookbook or artwork?  ;D
My SS sent me two items, they COULD each be viewed as artwork, neither are cookbooks.

Patience, my friends, all will be revealed when I am back from holidays!

Sorry to be so late getting back to this thread...things have been so hectic here!

I was very good and waited until Christmas Day to open my gift, and discovered the most beautiful wooden pepper grinder. I wondered aloud what it was made of, and the answer swiftly came back from DD: "Wood!"   :-)). I had been hoping for something a little more specific!

I have a good idea who my secret Santa is, as I have seen pictures of these mills before, so it is even more special knowing that it is handmade.

It will take pride on our table, and every time I use it I will think of my SS, (and her very clever DH!), and the lovely people of this amazing forum.

Thank you!  :-*

I am having trouble (again) posting pictures, so will come back later when I have more time and try again.
