Herbes de Provence
« on: October 16, 2008, 01:24:17 am »
Today's tipp from Germany

Herbes de Provence: dried herbs

A mixture of dried thyme, marjoram, rosemary and savory. Will be made spicier by the addition ofsage and lavender.

Make your own Provencal herb salt by grinding the herb mixture with salt 1:1 in the TMX for 15 seconds on speed 10 ( or 15 seconds on turbo).

Have you purchased Savory in Australia? I looked for it and even asked a Masterfoods Rep who was in the shop at the time (might have been the other herb and spice rep though) who looked at me like I was insane....
Got my mum to bring some from Canada.....

what is it called in Australia? I think it's an Italian herb?

Thanks !!!!!  :D

Thermomixer must be a bit like the Phantom!
I've bought (and killed) savoury from the local plant nursery.

Hello all.  Sorry, too many things going on.

Hopefully will get back on here soon.

Good to see familiar faces still active.
