Finally managed to get my Christmas cake mixed and baked today.Walked the dog this afternoon in the pouring rain.The nine stiles I have to clamber over on the walk were particularly slippery with mud. :P

Have heard all about the rain you are having over there CC.  Hope it clears for you all soon.   :)
Maddy, you are probably better off without the fellow but it will certainly put more stress on DH. Good thing you found out about the CC.
Overcast here today, DH has taken dog for a walk so better get breakfast started.

Doubt it with the weather kimmy... Freezing!

Maddy sounds like your best without this guy.. What a waste of time...im sure it will come back to bite him in the bottom... Dad had a gardener here to work all day a,d about lunch time he was winging ate lunch and said he was leaving ???? And then asked dad to pay him for his breaks too lol... Dad told him what he thought and that he was not paying him for not working so no paid breaks... Said what a waste of space...then rambled on about you,g people these days lol... Which sadly althoughnim still you,g think there isnt much work ethic in alot of people these days so good that your ds was out there helping... I would be so proud a,d so angry that he was put inthat situation ... Anyway heres to finding someone else to help out and ast!

Oh a,d hope.your dh is taking better care of himself and takes the FULL cours e of antibiotics!!

Done a bit of catching up.......

Maddy so pleased about DR's visit and AB,  but sorry about the hired hand.... Farming around the world is just he same in whatever country.... Hope it is not too bad and you get help soon.

CC we love Waddeston Manor.

Hope you get new boots before Xmas, for those of you on the other side of the world we are having a very wet winter, rain of almost biblical proportions several times a week. It is very very very wet and very hard for the farmers, and the livestock, and there are so many arable fields unsown.

Shopped, cooked, washed and knitted today. Now watching TV with family.

He took it pretty well, just shrugged his shoulders and said nothing you can do about it...phew.

Enjoying apricots for breakfast & a double shot latte, then grab boy child from sleepover shortly.....8 boys were there....C.R.A.Z.Y. woman!  :P
my Parents not coming out for lunch (the break is nice...shhh, did I really say that?  ;D), soooo, hopefully some baking today...it's been so long since I have  :-\

Maddy - your DH might have been secretly relieved given the fellow's past performance . . .hope someone pops up (even out of nowhere!) to lend a helping hand . . .not an easy life - that's for sure!! :-\

Deedub, great work at the school, hope drinks were good.

Great foster lunch yesterday & we won a $150 dinner viucher for Cocos :)

Today friends over for pizzas, bought the bases as I am not doing anything to jepodise my recovery.
