Left overs last night.  Cold meat and salad tonight.

Same here. I’m glad Christmas is 12 months away. I’ve eaten far too much.

Too hot to eat here, spent the day at the kids’ place in the pool.

K Atie you made me smile. I often find I have forgotten to something I have prepared for a meal.
Something cold for dinner. Ham and salad probably.

At least we were still at the table . Sausages and veg , paddock dinner for two . Only problem the Weber Q caught on fire , today replacing the bottom tray . It was lucky I managed to get sausages off . But one very hot BBQ .

DD has embraced the Ukrainian things of life a bit more since MIL died. She requested Vareniki, which are like Pierogi.  DH made them for her. I did the rolling out of the dough.

My best friend was Ukrainian cookie, she lived opposite me from the age of 7 and her Mum used to cook things like this. As a kid I would never eat their food though, it was all strange to me but I bet it tasted a darn sight tastier than what I had at home.
