Love all the stuff about the vanilla beans,  thanks everyone.
Today made Italian Pizzelle wafers, (posted a photo under Sourdough Waffles)
Made Yokes Sourdough Crepes, not worth the bother.  My simple recipe just as good,  although I did try one in the Pizzelle machine and this was very lacy.
Filled the crepes with Chicken and Mushroom filling and covered with Monkeyboyzmum's cheese sauce.
made a beautiful Sourdough loaf using Laucke Organic plain bread flour. This is interesting as the visual baked result is quite different  to the loaf when made with the Laucke Bread Mix.

Today in my thermomix...

Lettuce soup (have been wanting to try this one for ages... i must say I was pleasantly suprised)
Citrus and Mint juice which was a refreshing lunchtime drink that is soon (with the help of a dash or two of vodka) to become a relaxing afternoon tipple....

This would be a great novelty photo with a caption - such as  The EYES have it!  or some such.

LOL....well who would have thunk it  :P

I have made Teninas lime mousse pie, and it's now chilling....WARNING.....this makes a lot of filling, so if you use a standard sized pie plate, you will have too much filling.
Luckily I wasn't too happy with the first base, so I made another......so the excess filling filled another complete pie.
I would suggest using a high sided pie dish, or even a spring form pan.

......also have speck rendering for the baconnaise......oh boy it smells good  :P

Made chookies Hot Cross Buns today.  Didn't bother about putting on the crosses but did use the sugar syrup.  This is all that is left, they were disappearing as soon as they were out of the oven.  They are so yum.

Will make Bangers & Mash withTasty Onion Gravy for dinner tonight.

Absolutely nothing today. Been in the garden all day chopping down plants and trees. I've gone crazy with a hand saw and clippers.   Poor DH had to take 4 ute loads away for me (luckily his work ute has a tipper tray).
He has now ordered me to stop. Good thing I don't know how to use a chain saw lol.
