Yesterday we had a small family Cremation for Ral. We played 2 of his favourite pieces of music and had beautiful native flowers on the coffin. DD and DS both said a few words. It was short and dignified. I again thank you all for your kind words of support.

New shopping experience for me. I now but 1 of several things instead of a bag full. Yesterday I bought 1 fig, 1 red onion,
Tip, when making a cream soup, add a bit of cauliflower instead of thickening with cornflower or a roux. Saves calories and carbs.

It must be so different Chookie. I must remember the hint about thickening with cauliflower.

Cookie, we had chicken Cauli soup last night. My visitor loved it. I made the cream Cauli soup and steamed a mix of veggies and stir through with cooked diced chicke.
