Spent over three hours at my personal trainer's studio this morning Lots of fun, learning and exercising.

I think it's just the shirts that are on a roster basis. Although it's a long time since I've had to wash kids footy jumpers.
You are right though Gert. Get a washing machine and let them learn to look after their own gear.

Honestly I am gobsmacked. I do not think I know one person who would do that even on a roster.

Been there and have done it for many many years for my three older boys and their soccer teams. This is the first year in 15 years that none of them have played so enjoying the break   the shirts get worse as they boys get older and you start getting that yucky sweaty teen boy mixed in with it!!!

Nana just called us and gave an update on grandpa. Apparently the nurses had to give him an insulin shot today because his blood sugar was 27
How on Earth did that happen?
They are going to keep him in hospital until they can get his medication and everything under control. But the longer he stays in bed the weaker he is getting

Oh poor grandpa, I love you and want you to get better...

Amy do make sure you tell him that.  I believe that high sugar levels can make people confused a bit so perhaps your Grandad had it when you visited him.

I do tell him cookie, and he always says "it's a two-way street you know"

I think you're right, it was probably high yesterday when we visited. I don't think blood sugar can go that high very quickly, can it? Especially since he would only have been eating hospital food which is usually balanced for people with diabetes.

Got up early and swam 2kms. Felt good after a week off.

This afternoon I took my sister and BiL for a bush walk and drive. We finally managed to see some kangaroos.

I hope your Grandad gets better soon Amy.

Walked the dog then went to my Pilates class. Then did my weekly shop on the way home.Bumped into a old neighbour of mine whilst shopping.Great to see her,I couldn't believe that her eldest DD is at University Walked the dog again this afternoon.Hey!! guess what? it's rained all day Where I live we have only had thirteen days of sunshine since April.

Spent the day on a horticultural study day.
Got very wet and cold in the afternoon, but learnt a lot so worth it.

sunshine here, well the sun is coming up. Going to work to relax, catch up with friends today for coffee. i love it how they drop in..

Kids back at school & I've got the day off! Sun is shining so walked the dog, got sheets on the line, have done some cooking & now I SHOULD be doing housework.... Off to kids' swimming lessons later today.
