In found they only need 12-14mins in the oven, otherwise they were really overdone (first batch I set the timer and walked away, big mistake. 2nd batch I stayed around the oven and they needed to be pulled out by 14min).

They were quite nice, but there won't be a hurry to make them again. 3/5

I made this last night using Maddy's salami and tomato pesto version. I added some paprika and chilli flakes. Such good comfort food. Yum!

So easy and delicious. Even my non-soup eating FIL was happy!

This was scrumptious. Best Butter chicken I have ever had, and the spiciness gave it a good kick that I enjoyed.

I cooked these the other night. Ultra delicious!!!! Thumbs up all around.

I made my own wraps as well. I'm amazed at what I am actually attempting to do!

I had quite a bit of meat left over (as my wraps dwindled in number due to DS1 eating some of them). Freezed the leftover mixture and will use it a sort of nacho style dish.

Yes quite ridiculous really. Most companies encourage other companies that support their product, e.g Apple iPhones and all the covers etc from other companies, that Apple stock in their stores. They know it will enhance people's experiences.

Oh and this forum and blogs like Tenina's are the reason I'm so happy with my TMX. If I didn't have these resources I would have given up on my TMX.

Surely having non-HO cookbooks would actually help Thermomix to sell more thermomixes, and get the word out more. At the couple of demos I went to some people weren't overly impressed on the cookbooks available, so knowing there are other options may sway them to buying a thermomix.

I downloaded Tenina's app before receiving my thermomix (I had gone to the app store looking for the Thermomix one after demonstrator recommended it ). When the demonstrator asked if I had download the TM app, I said no I didn't like the look of it but had downloaded Tenina's. I got a spell about how Tenina use to work for TM but then sold out for sponsorship and money. It didn't stop me from telling others about it at the demo I was at...

These were delicious. The guests gave them 10 out of 10. Thanks Judy.

Made this the other night, DH really enjoyed it and said the meat was very tender.
I'm not a big red meat eater so I just had some of the stew gravy over my veggies (still get a little meat but not much) and it was delish.

Poor things. It must be all the learning those 'mean' teachers make them do. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) I hope they are better for Easter.

Spektor my family aren't fond of sp;ices at all so I only put a token amount in anything I make.

Glad it's just not my family!

Brain aches are horrible when you are a kid (well to be honest they are horrible anytime), but the term brain ache is so cute.

I made the EDC hot cross buns, we weren't fans. So I then tried Chookie's version which was a lot better but DS and DH still weren't happy - after questioning/interrogating them I realised it was the the ground cloves and nutmeg they weren't fussed on.

So I made another batch of Chookie's HCB today with these alterations:
- still 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- only 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- no ground cloves at all
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger

Finally I got a thumbs up.

Delicious! Certainly satisfies any sweet craving. It was the first cake I have made from scratch in many many years.

Cooked this tonight using some organic sausages from Woolies.

- Thumbs up from DS2
- DH really enjoyed it, and asked where I got the recipe, and I told him it was a recipe from the same lady of Chow Mein and Italian Meatballs fame, to which he said to keep cooking recipes from her.
- DS1 who is severely autistic and who is extremely limited in his diet, and who has not touched a sausage in over 5 years, showed some interest in what was going on our plates and decided to eat 2 sausages! (He obviously like them steamed).

Thankyou Chelsea! If you were ever to put out a thermomix cookbook I would buy it, based just on the 3 recipes of yours I have cooked, simple honest food.

What about baby spinach but not cooked in the varoma but rather stirred though the chow mein mixture at the end? (So put the rice basket on top of the TM lid in place of the varoma so steam can still escape)

In saying the above though, my skills in cooking are a bit basic (improving with TM) so I have no idea if the flavour would work.
