My thoughts are with both you and your wife.  You certainly have been doing a lot of running around.  Make sure you take some time for yourself otherwise you might get to the point that you 'hit a wall' which won't be good for you, your wife or your kids.

Take care Rob.

Rob, I am sorry to hear this.

I have had the miscarriage but I dont think I have had a D&C.

Its all a blur, years of ivf & my insides being cleaned out many times, dyes put though me & lots of vaginal u/s & egg collections.

None of it fun at all.

CP came from a harvest of 28 eggs, he was our 4th attempt, fresh embryos put back, 3 of them. We froze the rest of his batch, got nothing, then did several more ivfs, miscarriage & finally stopped.

TMI ???

Who knows and what a lovely life cp has... And how lucky he is to have u and u him..

Yes cp is special, he is CROWN PRINCE CHARMING ;D

He actually was given a crown at school this week for passing all his times tables & multiple tables :D

Took us a while to coe to terms with it, but at least we can bring happiness to other children.

Rob I hope both you and your wife are doing as well as can be expected. We lost our first baby at almost 20wks in Hawaii whilst on a holiday. 7 years later we returned to Hawaii where we had a little remembrance ceremony. In this time we had three healthy babies and a 7wk loss.

Dads do mourn that loss as well so share with your closest friends as well as your wife. Maybe something like planting a special tree or like we do a little ceremony (we float flowers off the pier in Waikiki each visit).
