It was 235g astarra and wasn't the largest in the box.

Dim sum lunch for us, DB and my Mum and Dad plus DS for a belated birthday lunch.  Cheated and bought a lot of dumplings, steamed buns and spring rolls from local Chinese grocer then steamed/deep fried them at home. Also bought a whole Chinese BBQ duck for not much more than a raw duck!  Added some home-made spicy chicken feet and sous-vide pork belly. So many left overs, won't have to cook for days now.

Normally I would do everything from scratch but getting a bit tired of having every family celebration here for whole family (up to 12 people) with almost no help apart from DH. Mum and Dad have earned a break but as for the rest of the gang, well they eat and run 😡. Just as well we love them as DH has suggested abandoning Christmas !

I understand completely Bonsai, it would get to you sometimes.  Perhaps you could suggest they all bring a plate next time  ;)  It sounded a wonderful meal, not sure about the chicken feet though  ;D
