Gretchen I dont see why the light cream wouldn't work, I have used skim sweetened condensed milk and that works, I just use the milk straight out of the tin (dont partly freeze it)

This is an excellent recipe, I add Tim Tams or choc with mint in or anything that tastes good chopped up small and then line a lamington tray with alfoil, put a layer of malt biscuits in pour the icecream over and flatten it, put another layer of malt biscuits on top and freeze. Cut so that you can hold a biscuit and eat like the old gaint sandwich icecream yum a great favourite at our house

We had this for dessert last night and it was a great hit despite the fact that I didnt use a bit enough dish and had to try and slide the apples and cake mix into another bowl before adding the sauce mixture :-[Thanks for the great recipe achookwoman. We have also tried your novel apple pud and loved that as well

Thanks for the recipe Chelsea, I made these for the Grandkids to have after school and they loved them took the rest home to share with their Dad just realised I put this under the wrong one Should have been under the non healthy one!!!

Thanks Very Happy Jan, I may try again and cook for longer as well, the grandkids ate quite a bit and then we had some for dessert with custard on it, that was tasty,so it wasnt wasted

I made this cake yesterday and it looked beautiful as it came out the oven (skewer came out clean, bounced back when touched)but then it just sank down down down do you know what I did wrong? Actually every time I use the TM to make a cake it seems to happen so I must be doing something wrong, can someone help please

I made this for my grandkids for an after school snack(without the nuts)on Tuesday and they loved it so much we had it again yesterday, will have to get some more bananas into the freezer for them Thanks for the great recipe

Thanks isi they look really tasty,thought that when I saw them on another photo you had done. I will try them with the grandkids today and tell you how they like them, and also how many minutes they last!!

I just used 1 1/2 tablespoons custard powder isi and we loved it, judydawn I was thinking I would have to do the same thing
