I'm winding down now and anything goes for meals.  No serious cooking until after I get back from the retreat.  We had leftover corned silverside, I fried up the leftover mashed potato, cabbage and carrot and served it with eggs.

I can understand that H.  It's hardworking feeding one family, feeding 2 is very impressive.

Just arrived in Perth.  Cookie and her DH met us at the airport.   We feel so spoilt.  Miss Maud is cooking dinner for us tonight.

I need some dinner advice for tomorrow night. I get home from work after picking DS up at 6pm, so things need to happen quickly and I have 500grams of diced beef. My thermomix hasn't been used as much as I'd like lately due to me being unwell with this stupid flu, DS' operation and my assignment so I'd really like to do something in it. I was going to make casserole in the pressure cooker but I'm a little bit worded about prep time and what time we'd end up eating. Any suggestions?

Could you mince it and cook it into a bolognese sauce Amanda? Or maybe a sauce to have with nachos or tacos?
I wish I could help you out more but I don't cook with a lot of red meat :-\

Jakodai, this is quick & tasty
I just make it in TM
Beef terriyaki
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
5 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 -2 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Directions:

1
1. Mix all but cornstarch and 1/4c water in a sauce pan and begin heating.
2
2. Mix cornstarch and cold water in a cup and dissolve. Add to sauce in pan.
3
3. Heat until sauce thickens to desired thickness.
4
4. Add water to thin if you over-thick it.

Yummy Hally,  stirfys are quick and easy too.

I made a Mince curry on Monday nite, so easy.

Tonight is King salmon again, and I will make the fish pie for tomorrow nite as well.  :)
