Just had a look for it on British Larder and couldn't find anything that looked like your recipe Hally, what was it called please.  I'd like to check it out.

What a burger Julie - I'm not hungry but I could certainly go for that.

Hally, I think your photo of Sutton Hoo Chicken Escalope looks better than the original - it looks healthier somehow without the breadcrumbs.  In fact it almost looks steamed.  Great effort.

I've made spicy parsnip soup for tea.

JulieO, I am just gobsmacked how absolutely delicious and delectable your dinners look, even the humble burger.  You really do have a gift.

Roast Chicken for us. I brined the chicken overnight and steamed it for 25 mins on Varoma before roasting. Then out potato, pumpkin and sweet potato in basket  and par cooked in the liquid from the chicken before roasting.
Added some leftover gravy to liquid and thickened with cornflour.
Delicious!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Aww thankyou :D

It tasted especially good as I added a good dollop of the caramelised garlic paste to the sauteed carrots and onion before adding to the mince (once cooled).  Really added something.  :D
