A trip to the Adelaide farmers market, followed by a drive to McLaren Flat to pick up daughter from a sleep-over.
Home for late lunch, then got the almost (but not quite) past-it ham bone into the slow cooker with onions, carrot, celery, garlic and split peas.  I'll freeze that soup when it's down.
Boned lamb now marinading in garlic, lemon, oregano in preparation for the barbecue tonight.

Now - I intend to lie on the couch and read!

Had a few delays getting DH off the ground - the wind wasn't right. It looked very relaxing actually and I loved watching all the hang gliders. I'm glad he didn't get a taste for it even though he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

A couple of pics of getting ready, the take off and up in the air. Missed the landing as the instructor changed his mind as to the landing site.

DD it is disgusting that you had to swim at Champion Lakes. From reading the papers I thought that it was closed to swimmers.

I went for a walk around the local park near DD's house. Then I spent the day building a cover to hide her hot water system on her back patio.

I am off shortly to help at a Marathon club twilight 5k race.

Am just about to start typing up recipes from Jamie's 15 min meals.  Lots of lovely sounding and looking meals in this book.  It's very rare that we don't like anything of Jamies, he knows how to get great flavour in his meals.  :D

I was very lazy yesterday so I was determined to make up for it today. Washed the rest of the windows, sorted through some cupboards in the study & threw out HEAPS! Started a large pile of stuff to go to the Salvos, got the kids to sort through some of their stuff too. And I got some cooking done, more stuff for the freezer "sigh".

What beach do you go to GHM?
I used to walk the beach path at Hillary's dog beach and often sw snakes early morning or around sunset.
I used to walk with my eyes on the ground as a I was worried about standing on a snake .
We go to North Beach :)
