Headed up to Guildford for the holiday but had arranged to make a drop off of a purchase from our shop to a customer on the way as it saved postage and was faster than waiting for the post to arrive next week.  I rang when I was 1 hour away from the meeting point to confirm times then, when I got there, she made me wait for 15 minutes before she turned up. I was very annoyed as we had visitors due and I only just managed to get home before they arrived .. their bed wasn't made, I hadn't had a chance to check for spiders webs, etc.  Not a very nice welcome for them!

Anyway the rest of the day went well and we had a lovely time pottering around in the garden with them (they do not have a garden so come up now and then for a dose of the outdoors!).  Off to Wesley Hill market today with them.

Marina, how rude and annoying.
Enjoy the market and visitors. I am sure they will enjoy your lovely garden.

Marina that is certainly very rude.  You were being kind to her too.
Enjoy your break.  We had a quiet day yesterday, it was lovely.

It was kind of you to deliver it Marina, pity they messed you around.  Note to yourself for next time!

Thanks everyone.  We had a great weekend, fantastic weather.  Visitors have now headed home so loads of left overs to finish off!

Ral and I went fishing in the dam.  Caught nothing, but it was so quiet and peaceful.

I'm still trying to clear the backlog from our trip away. It was great  8) 8) 8). Will post a few pics in the holiday thread as soon as I get some time to sort photos. DH was off again the day after we got back, on his way to visit his sick mum in Qld.
The Easter Bunny was running late this year so there was flurry of activity this morning to get some things organised for the adult "children".
I'm going to lunch at a friend's house today. They have built a big, new house beside the Hawkesbury River so I will get the grand tour :)
Happy Easter to you all xx

Your friends house sounds as though it will be lovely Gayle. The Hawkesbury was pretty, the parts that I have seen.

Yesterday DD and I went to the new stadium to watch out football team play. It is a very nice stadium and the the fact that it is on the river makes it better. Outside there are lots of places to walk, sit and generally hang out.
One photo is small but DD took a panorama shot.
it doesn’t seem very clear either!

Isn’t the atmosphere great at these stadiums cookie, so much better than watching it on TV and I find it less stressful too.  Thanks for the photos.

Today DD and I went to the Apple shop and bought DH a new iPad. We got the toughest cover we could and Apple care, as last time he dropped it within a couple of weeks and cracked the screen.
