Lemon Bliss Balls, Spanish Bean stew, pumpkin soup (tastes great with just a touch of curry powder), Tomato-ey smoked chickpeas, frittata, tomorrow I will attempt kale colcannon and perhaps some kale chips if there is any kale left over. I read somewhere recently that if you put the kale in the freezer it tastes better ... I guess I will find out tomorrow!

Everyone has been busy. I cooked my Nutella scrolls this morning and then made Maddy's Cheese and Bacon rolls to go with soup for lunch.https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3114.0
DD was given a kilo of blueberries (frozen) the other day so we are having a Blueberry and Apple Crumble for sweets tonight.

I started Chookie's Rustic Bread from the  Agrarian Kitchen last night and now have it trying very hard to rise in our cool weather.

I had planned to do a Classic loaf as well but it is too cold and the starter is being slow, so I will feed it up and do it tomorrow.

Cookie, when we made the Rustic bread at the Agrarian Kitchen, we placed it near the slow combustion stove.
At the moment I am leaving my SD on the kitchen bench.  I use it and feed it every day.

I'm making some shortbread biscuits and Margaret's sponge today. Also my Classic loaf, which rose beautifully in the fridge overnight.

GD came to do some cleaning. I made her some SD pancakes as she hadn’t had lunch. She loved them. Thinned the recipe ( posted ) down with a bit more milk. I used gluten free flour and lactose free milk.  Made double batch.  Mixture keeps well in fridge.
Cookie, nice looking loaf.
Obbie, like the look of your rustic loaf

A nice loaf of bread Cookie.
Today I have made Cauliflower & Bacon Soup, a Savoury topping for toast or would be nice in little puff pastry cases, Chookie's Pear & Ginger Pudding, 2 bread sticks, 4 doz meat & veg sausage rolls.  2 dozen in the oven now, 2 doz ready to go in. Photo of Chookie's pudding later.   I wanted to make some biscuits as well but have run out of energy.

OMG, Mab.  What a cook up. Looks great.  Are you feeding an Army?
I made another lot of Potato Cakes.  Gave them to a neighbour who rang to say how delicious they were.  She reheated them in a Turbo Oven. Said they were lovely and crisp.  Think it is the Carb Soda that makes them crisp.

Mab, no wonder you have run out of energy.  That is indeed a big cook up.
I finished off the shortbread and the sponge ready to take out this morning. Everyone raced over the sponge, thank you for the recipe Mab.

I put a slurp of caramel sauce and then a blob of melted chocolate on the shortbread. The photo shows them in the carry case I was using.

Fabulous cooking girls. 👏
I made a loaf of bread, vegetable soup (for lunch) and Thermofun’s Honey Nougat Delight to take to friends house, when we meet for coffee tomorrow.

Nice baking Cookie.  Those shortbread look good and I'm glad the sponge worked for you.  We ate Chookie's Ginger & Pear pudding last night and it was delicious.
