A pretty big job cookie, exciting days ahead once your motor home is ready.

I agree with Marina Margaret, hats off to you for the way you’re handling your problem. I just can’t come at pureed food (apart from soup) and I noticed in the nursing home that once residents were put on a pureed diet they lost interest in eating.

Get well soon K Atie, often all we need is a good rest from our duties and plenty of sleep.

Marina, getting out of your everyday environment for your recent trip back home would have done you the world of good. Not too long now before you can start feeling a bit normal.

Certainly is a long recovery period Marina and if you do the right thing it will go as planned. All the best in the coming months.

Congrats to your DD K Atie.

No problems after my flu jab a few weeks ago, sorry to hear you had to suffer with yours cookie. That was certainly a bad reaction.

Margaret I’ve been on Sustagen for almost 4 years now and I love it. Like you, I use neutral in coffee, soups and some desserts and either choc or vanilla in my morning smoothie. I’ve been buying mine direct from Nestle but lately I’ve found Chemist Warehouse have been slightly cheaper or around the same price so I’ve bought the last 2 lots from them so that I don’t have to hang around waiting for delivery.

That’s the worst part Marina, having so much time on your hands but not being able to do anything. Hopefully you can amuse yourself easily for the next period of recuperation.

Margaret, how do you make a pastie without using pastry then.

Sorry to hear that Margaret, food restrictions are pretty tough and meals become boring. Wishing you all the best.

That must be very disappointing Judy.

I ended up having a bit of my daughter’s fettuccine with prawns, you couldn’t even see where it went missing from her huge serve. At this time of the year you’d think hotels and restaurants would have soup on the menu.

Rain needed here too. Probably nothing for tea seeing as I’m going out for lunch, unless there’s nothing on the menu I can eat which happens a lot.
