Bet you are glad uni is over Narelle - now just sit back and relax, get over your sore throat and do some TMX cooking.  It is very therapeutic, especially when you have all the time in the world. Have you tried the ginger/lemon/honey drink in the drinks section for your sore throat - very soothing.

Glad to hear you like them.  MrsT love them and she gets a few as a nibble every now and then - the benefit of having them just sliced and ready to crumb.

I have the breadcrumbs in the freezer and have added some grated parmesan, parsley and a little lemon zest to the latest lot for a change.

My house smells amazing at the moment.  I found an interesting cut of meat in Woolworths which I have never seen before (don't shop there very often) which was labelled Lamb Forequarter Pieces, nice chunky meaty bits on the bone, very lean too.  Only $10 for 3 packs totalling around 2kgs. I am cooking them the same as I would Osso Bucco or Lamb Shanks in my huge slow cooker. My TMX will finish the meal off later with mashed potato and steamed vegies. This would have to be DH's all-time favourite meal even though he is not a tomato freak, he willingly accepts them in this dish. Now I have to come up with something for dessert as we have just finished the custard slice I made a week ago - that just got better and better tasting each day and I tempted unexpected visitors yesterday to have the last 2 pieces. Buggar, they said yes :D :D

I'm planning the Curry and mushrooms from the Indian book either tonight or tomorrow night. Also plan to make the instant banana icecream tonight-if I remember to put the bananas in the freezer!  A bit of coleslaw for lunch and maybe cookies or cake this afternoon.
