I hope you had a good meeting and lunch Judy.
An expensive few days for you Chookie.
A beautiful sunny here today. It was frosty walking this morning with Chance. We had to go a different way as the horses wanted to say hello and as you know I'm very wary of them.

Good morning everyone.  Overcast and wet here.

It's also our local Farmers Market here today.

Chookie 1 week out of warranty means nothing these days, have a read of this article and push for it to be fixed. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-06-07/broken-but-out-of-warranty-you-still-have-rights/2749924

Judy, thanks for the link.  I read it.  We are probably well within our rights to make a claim,  but, most of the cost involved picking up and delivering it back.  Also we could kick up a fuss but it is more important to us to maintain a good working relationship with the shop.
We had the last of the magnetic fly wire screens fitted today.  And yes he did have afternoon tea. Also took some Portuguese Custard Tarts home.

A beautiful sunny day here today. Another flock of Canadian Geese flew past me again this morning when walking Chance.

Good morning everyone, a beautiful day here.  My mechanic is here servicing my car and I’m about to go outside to do some watering and hang the washing out.  Too nice to be inside today.

I’m pleased your SD class went well Chookie. I gave some starter and lots of notes and recipes to a lady from Diabetes WA a couple of weeks ago. I received a message from her to say she had made a successful SD loaf yesterday and her family all ate it before it had cooled completely. I was so pleased for her.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Yes Cookie, it gives you a real buzz when you can pass on SD info and starter and the recipient has success.   Good on you.
I have made a little booklet that I now give with the starter.  It contains instructions on maintaining the starter, a basic recipe for a loaf,  and a couple of recipes such as Pizza, Crumpets and pancakes.

Hi friends,
Another sunny day here but it's cold. Apparently it's going to get colder by the end of this week.
Great news your SD class went well Chookie.
