Hi...
I have family coming for dinner tomorrow and they want to check out the thermomix...Problem is everything I can think of one of my family members has an allergy too. I want to make something yummy but needs to feed 6-7 people. Ther allergies are mushrooms, all fish and seafood and doesnt like rissotto.
I would love some ideas and suggestions and all are welcome... Also something yummy for dessert too...
Thanks
Cobbie

Do they like indian food ? If so, I would do the butter chicken from the Indian cookbook. It's an absolute favourite in this house cooked at least once a week. The recipe is here somewhere, will look after for you. Gotta go get kids from school. Back after.

Hi and welcome Cobbie86. How about a curry? Baf's chicken on here is very nice and is an all in one meal. The cherry cheesecake in the EDC is lovely. I think it's called a German cherry cheesecake or something similar. Look through the meal threads and I'm sure you will find something.

Hi and welcome cobble86, it's really a hard one when there is allergies and foods that they don't like involved. I can understand you wanting to make an impression. What about some chicken Kiev, it's nice a simple and I can feed all 7 of us with some left over using 4 chicken breasts. Served with either veggies or a salad goes really well. And maybe a yummy self saucing pudding or an apple crumble with some TM custard.
I don't know the choices are endless. Good luck with finding something to suit everyone.

Another idea is to have a look at Quirky Jo's blog . That will be helpful and her recipes are lovely. It's called quirkycooking.
Here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5335.0) is one of her recipes that is on the forum. It's very tasty.
