I received mine today, what a beautiful book, every page I thought of Maddie  ;D
There is so much I want to make, but will wait for DD comes home as she is the chocolate lover, I have no excuse for visitors as this book if works will make me out as a real chef  ;D.
Can't wait to make something from it, problem is what will I make first  ;D

Well my book travelled in the neighbours car for 1 week, before I got it last night  :-))
The postie, once again delivered to the wrong mail box....neighbour didn't read address label & assumed it was more books for his wife, kept it in his car until he went to their Melbourne house, where she lives through the week  :-))

What a gorgeous book!!!
The chocolate decoration is beautiful (most don't have instructions for that though)....but it all reads dazzling!
I clearly have been melting chocolate wrong all along in the TM.
Callebaut choc used in all recipes, but will have to make do for now as my shopping budget has blown out for that ATM  :P

My book arrived in the mail yesterday, thanks again CC.
Have to agree with Maddy it is a gorgeous book. Thought of you Maddy when I saw those decorations, no way mine will look like that.
I decided to treat myself and buy some callebaut dark chocolate. As you do thought I better sample some before I cooked with it, oh my it's the best. Will have to hide it from myself or I will eat it before I cook with it.
I have the ginger and chocolate cake in the oven cooking.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I have a friend who is a French pastry chef (even the French bit). He came to my delivery Demo as he had wanted to see the TMX in action. He is convinced I should be able to temper chocolate in it and has donated a tub of his chocolate to the cause. I'll be following the recipe on French foodie's blog but not what sure what to do with the resultant chocolate yet.

Ha Ha Karen that's a much nicer story than what actually happened.  I had the blonde moment to end all blonde moments and actually ordered the book from 2 different places.  Luckily Karen was happy to take one of the books off my hands.

I think I actually saw the coverture choc at W**lw*rths. It was near the deli section where they have the gourmet cheeses.
