Error 34 and high pitched sounds??
« on: March 11, 2013, 01:25:43 am »
Hi,
My daughter was washing up last night and didn't put my thermomix back together properly and when I was making museli slice this morning, honey and melted butter went all through the blades and into the mechanism. After 30 minutes of cleaning it, when I turn the dial up to turn on the blades, it makes a funny sound and shows error 34.

Any help much appreciated/donations to my  daughter for a new one  :P

Arnie, in the manual on page 40 you will see instructions for what to do for different error numbers.  If you have gunk inside the workings I can't see how the instruction for your specific problem will work but it's worth a try and I would also call your consultant if the problem persists.  It may need to be seen by the TMX mechanic.

Thanks for your quick reply. Turning the lid, like it says in the manual doesn't work. May have to take it to the mechanics after all...

I'd say so. Bad luck.

You  could try turning the thermoix upside down over night . Take a hairdryer to it  tomorrow blowing into all  the holes.

Worked for a friend of mine after an overflow.

All sympathy to you.
