Hmm good question!

I think my favourite thing to make so far is stocks, both concentrated and liquid. I have made heaps of soup too. I love it for Bolognese sauce, and had fun making the dishwasher goo, looking forward to making the clothes washing goo.

I got my TM too late in the year to want to have icy drinks/sorbet but I bet I am going to adore it for making them!

Yum!  Mandarin sorbet!  Is this in the cookbook?  My children will ADORE that!  You're swinging me even MORE to having to have this Thermomix   ;D

And the GF bread - is that dairy and egg free too?

Embarassingly, I don't think I'd done 10 different recipes yet, so here's my Top X so far:

1. Mushroom Risotto
2. Cranberry-Orange Bread
3. Pizza dough
4. Strawberry Sorbet
5. French Baguettes (bread again!)
6. Pasta alla carbonara

I've done a few others that didn't wow me, but not all that many.

Hi Marmee,

The GF bread is dairy free but contains eggs.

Mandarin sorbet recipe:
80gm sugar (mill until fine about 10 secs?)
200gm mandarin skinned and seeds removed
500gm ice cubes

Add mandarin and half the ice to the bowl and process for 20 secs.
Add rest of ice and process for 1 min 30 secs.
Enjoy!

Ohhh cookie - that reminds me of the cranberry and pistachio shortbreads in the mini Christmas book - they were a HUGE hit with my family. Dad who 'doesn't like shortbread' asked for more! ;D

Sounds yummy, but unprepared chicken wings are not readily available here, I don't think. Although I may be mistaken; I've discovered loads of new products since I've had my TMX! I'll take a look next time I'm at the grocery store. Thanks for the tip  :)

I love this thread: It's one thing to read a recipe, but having someone say it's their favorite gives it much more appeal!
