Enjoy your break Robyn.  Obviously the school was quite happy for the kids to have a week off.

How are the early Spring flowers coping?
The snowdrops have survived and the daffodils are still pushing through the soil so they will be okay.

Morning all.

The Spring bulbs are so tough to survive such awful weather.
It is warming up a bit today.

Good morning everyone. The morning has got away from me again but I’ve done the main things on my mental list.  Warming up into the 30’s again, summer seems to last so much longer these days.

What recipe do you use for your wool mix, Chookie?

Does anyone make their own laundry powder for a top loader washing machine?  If so, what recipe works best?

Morning all.
Marina, I will look up the correct proportions for the woolmix.  It is Lux soap flakes, eucalyptus oil and mentholated spirits. I make a large jar full and it lasts several years.
For years I have made the washing machine soap powder from the Forum.  But since shifting I have been buying it. We have a front loader and I use only a heaped teaspoon for a wash.  I found it a nuisance to buy and store the various components.  I also wasn’t  keen on putting these things in the TMX and then using it for food.
