Title: White stain in bowl

I cooked 280g rice for the first time in tmx following the Indian cookbook. There is a film of white in bowl. Tried scrubbing but not coming off. Anyone had this happen to them?

Yes it has happened to me. I think I am naughty as I don't really fuss about marks anymore. They seem to go after a short while.
I can understand your concern though, hopefully someone will have something more constructive to say.

Oh thanks cookie. If its just cosmetic, I don't care. I was more worried about damage to bowl that might affect food, health etc.
