I made this on friday for the weekend and they went down very well with everyone...very filling though which i guess means they last longer than 5 mins!  For the cooking at first i tried to roll in balls as suggested earlier in the link and as you normally do for cookies but found with these and my oven that they took longer to cook this way so did the logs and they cooked perfectly..no dough leftover as i was cooking for 9 adults and 4 kids but if it was just for us would definately freeze at least half..makes heaps!!

I made these yesterday and they are sooooooo delicious and actually seem quite healthy with the oats and nuts etc. well that is what I am telling myself  :P

As others have mentioned the nuts need to be chopped a little longer, but the result of big chunks is actually very nice and makes them crunchy!  I try at least once a week to make a big batch of choc-chip cookies for everyones lunches and this recipe wiill become a favourite as it makes so many.

I made these bikkies last week and decided that I couldn't be bothered rolling out. However I did end up with over 100 bikkies :D
Which isn't so bad as I have 5 children.
I loved this recipe and will be using it in the future a lot more!!!
