Enjoy your trip cookie.
Today I made potato & leek soup, a potato bake for the freezer for the kids’ next visit and cookie’s sago mango puddings from the forum. All these items were made using what I had on hand and needed to move some ingredients from the pantry and freezer. Earlier in the week I made a veggie soup to clear the crisper and had it every night until it was gone as my freezers are all too full again at the moment.

Chookie I was only just reading all the positive reviews of Nagi’s Minestrone soup the other day so will make it for DD mainly but will see how I go with it. I may have to blend it a bit.

Isn’t it nice to do something different Chookie. We once took DH’s Mother up to the city late at night to have a pie floater from a food van in front of the Adelaide Casino just so that she could have that experience for the first time.

Have a safe and happy holiday Marina, good luck with the foot problem. I hope it doesn’t give you too much grief.

I recently joined the RecipeTin Eats Appreciation FB group, she has become the Queen of recipes and has 54,900 followers at the moment. I had to chuckle when they started doing her Artisan bread recipe which she does in a cast iron Dutch oven as every man and his dog is racing out and buying one of those pots now. Remember in our forum’s early days when we did crazy things like that with the Pizza maker, air-fryer and I’m sure there were other appliances as well.

The tap sounds great Chookie and the bookshelves will soon be full I’m sure.

Thanks Chookie, I asked as I thought others would like to know. I don’t do enough cooking to do bulk things.
The last of the kids’ food, ready to deliver now.
RTE Garlic Cheese Pizzas https://www.recipetineats.com/garlic-cheese-pizza/ I made individual ones and added ham, caramelised onions and roasted red peppers to them but left the ham off DD’s.
Made 3 individual pavlovas (1 for me) but I’ll have to work on that one as I think I overcooked them. I wanted the marshmallowy centre but I don’t think I achieved that. Toppings are mixed berry coulis and persimmon, I don’t even know if they like persimmon.

Thanks Chookie, I’ve replied.  Handy storage in that little table.
