Wooohooo MF well done! I have a little Scottish heritage in me too!

I am doing a happy dance because I believe we, as a family, are finally on the UP at long last.

The solicitors have been instructed today and we will be moving AGAIN but to a very good place.
By the time we arrive it will be a whole 12 months since the axe fell last year and what a year it has been.
There will be lots to do and it means camping in the house and fairly major revamping but by next year we should be well on the way to being settled.

Thank you to everybody for helping and supporting and for being such lovely friends to us all.

Wow!! I'll second that!!! DJ that's wonderful news!!!  Good luck with everything! Often think about you with the hope that things are getting easier for you....you've certainly had to cope with a whole dump truck full of challenges landing on top of you and, good for you, you've met them head on!!

Very happy to read your good news MF and DJ.

DJ, it's been a long, hard haul but finally there is light at the end of the tunnel and no-one deserves it more than you. It's so nice to read the relief and optimism in your posting and I wish you and your family all the best for a very happy future in your new house. xx
