You've been lucky that everything went well for you with the NBN Gert and received free gifts, one area in particular here seems to have had endless problems.  I asked when my suburb was going to be done and was given a 5 year time frame then 2 weeks later I found a notice in my letter box, the NBN start up is being rolled out in my area very shortly.  The actual connection to the house may take a little longer though.  I'm hoping it runs smoothly here.

Gert I'm so pleased you have NBN and that it has gone well. We apparently won't have it for a couple of years.
Thermilover I love the colours etc of spring but hate my hay fever. I've already gone into preventative mode.

Hi friends.
Late on today.DS fell off his bike and after an X-ray at the minor injuries unit it was diagnosed that he had broken his elbow and wrist.So we have been a little busy.LOL

Ouch!  I can feel the pain way down here.  Best wishes for a quick recovery and I hope he is not too incapacitated until then.  I cannot imagine what it must be like to lose the use of one of my arms - so frustrating and annoying.

Oh no Denise!  Poor Louis, how is he coping in plaster?  I imagine that phone call to his parents would have been difficult.  Give Louis a special hug from Aunty Judy.

Is it Louis Judy or Denise's DS?  Horrid for either of them but perhaps better if it was DS.
Denise it must be extremely painful, especially the elbow.

Bit late, sitting at hair dressers in Melb.
Denise, poor Louis.  DD broke her elbows 5 times before she was 12. She coped better than us. !!
We kept a special outfit of tops which we fitted with safety pins down one side.
We thought she had weak bones, but no, just very active and a risk taker. Still the same.

Oops, it does say DS cookie but I'm sure Denise will clarify it when she comes on later today. I naturally thought it was Louis because he's spending the holidays with them.

Denise is usually on here by this time of the morning, but she isn't here yet.  Obviously well and truly tied up with DS.  Hope all is going well.

Hi friends.

It was our son who had the accident.He attended the fracture clinic this morning and said his other hand was hurting too.Another X-ray and low and behold he's fractured that wrist as well. Poor guy is thoroughly miserable.

Oh gosh, it's going from bad to worse, Denise.  I feel for him, he must be so miserable.  That must have been a worse accident than first thought.
